ALEXANDER MACONOCHIE CENTRE
Subcontracting to Bovis Lend Lease in 2006, Group One carried out construction of all civil works & landscaping to the Alexander Maconochie Centre, Canberra’s new high security prison.
Completed in 2009, the subcontract scope included all detailed earthworks; roads; pavement & recreation slabs; kerbs; footpaths; carparks; subsoil drainage; and hard & soft landscaping. Landscaping included decorative exposed aggregate paving to the town square areas, along with grassed sporting oval construction.
